Lebanon building work starts with city Code Administration
Inside Lebanon city limits, building, remodeling, utility, fence, pool, zoning, and inspection questions route through the city's Code Administration and building permit process.
West Commercial Street is the city stop for a lot of Lebanon building work. Inside city limits, Code Administration handles the permit and inspection side of projects tied to building, remodeling, utilities, fences, and pools.
The same city layer also reaches zoning, access management, subdivision rules, and the codes adopted by the Lebanon City Council. That is a different path from an unincorporated Laclede County project. A shed, fence, pool, remodel, or utility job can be a city question even when the owner thinks of it as just a county address.
Start by finding the address on the city side of the line. If it is in Lebanon, use the city building-permit guidelines and send the completed application the way Public Works allows: email, fax, or in person on West Commercial Street.
