Farmington's bikeway ties parks, downtown, and St. Joe access together
Farmington's bikeway page lists spurs and loops that connect the Civic Center, Engler Park, downtown, and trailheads toward St. Joe State Park.
Farmington’s bike map gives St. Francois County a different kind of local texture than mine sites or courthouse offices. The city lists a Stanley M. Overall Bikeway Trail System with short spurs and loops that connect public facilities.
The Civic Center spur begins at the Civic Center. The Oak Ridge Trail Head spur leads to a rest area with access to the St. Joe State Park bike trail system. The Pimville spur leads toward the Blankshire Trailhead in St. Joe State Park. The Engler Park Loop runs through Engler Park, and the Downtown Loop connects historic downtown Farmington to Long Park.
For residents and visitors, that means bike access is not one isolated trail. It is a city-run network that links recreation, downtown, rest stops, and state-park trailheads. Check the city page before assuming a route, facility, or trailhead connection.
