Morgan County land-record searches use iCounty

Morgan County's Recorder says its online land-record index is available through iCounty, with indexed records from January 1990 to present.

For a Morgan County deed or land-record question, start with the Recorder rather than a property listing site. The county Recorder says land records can be searched through iCounty, where users can set up an account to search items recorded from January 1990 to present.

The same page adds an important limit: online records from 1956 to 1990 include deed transfers, but those records must be looked up in index search books to get the book and page number for the document.

That distinction matters on older lake, farm, and town properties. A modern online search may be enough to orient you, but older chain-of-title questions may require the Recorder’s index books, a document copy request, or help from a title professional.
