Artesian Park keeps Clinton recreation close to the old city core
Artesian Park gives Clinton a local recreation layer with an outdoor pool, softball fields, and neighborhood park facilities away from the lake and trail headlines.
Henry County’s outdoor identity is not only Truman Lake and state trails. Clinton’s own parks page lists Artesian Park facilities in town, including the outdoor pool on Hudson Street between West Rogers and West Allen streets and the Artesian softball fields.
That is local color because it shows the resident side of Clinton. A new family may hear about the Katy Trail or the lake first, but city recreation questions usually start with the Clinton parks source, not with MDC, State Parks, or the Corps.
Use the city page for the pool, fields, shelters, and local recreation contacts. Use the lake and state trail managers for bigger public-land trips.
