Crawford County court errands may use two Steelville addresses
Crawford County's circuit court page places Divisions I and II in the courthouse and Division III next door at 111 Third Street.
A Crawford County court errand may not be in the same room as a county tax or deed errand. The county’s circuit court page says Divisions I and II are in the upper level of the Crawford County Courthouse in Steelville.
The same page says Division III handles civil cases under $25,000, small claims, probate, traffic, and other minor violations. It places that division adjacent to the courthouse on the east side at 111 Third Street, described as the office building with the black handrail.
Before going to Steelville, read the notice or case information and match it to the court division. The courthouse square is the anchor, but the exact door still matters.
