Runge Conservation Nature Center gives Jefferson City a different kind of public place from the Capitol complex.

MDC manages the site in the city, with directions from Highway 50 and information on events and field trip opportunities. That makes it a practical nature stop for families, school groups, new residents, and anyone learning central Missouri wildlife close to town.
